Daily Inspiration

Lately, I have been listening to people who are positive about career goals and making better career moves in the business. It doesn't necessarily have to be a director or even actor speaking, but I have been deeply influenced by musical genius Dave Grohl. I have been watching interviews with him speaking about just doing what you love to do and not letting anyone or anything come between that. In the business that we are in, you have to do it literally because you have a passion for it. If you are doing it for reasons other than the basic enjoyment of being on stage playing a part, singing, or performing a musical instrument then you will never be fully happy. Success will come if you believe in yourself and let go of the extra worry. Added stress will lead to nothing but more stress, so just stay positive. It is easier said than done, but there is a light at the end of that tunnel, but you have to push yourself because nothing worth while comes easy. Everyday I try to read or listen to something positive that will help me to keep a focused mind set. So listening to Dave speak was truly a breath of fresh air. This guy started with nothing, a high school drop out who enjoyed playing music. His focus was on the music and nothing else. Even if he never made it from being in Nirvana or the Foo Fighters, he said that he would still be banging the life out of those drums and enjoying every second of it. So if you love something, do it! If you are great at it, do it! Drive, preparation and dedication will take you anywhere you want to go and you can achieve anything you set your mind to. This may be cliche but it is sooo true.

Welcome!

Hello All! Welcome to my new blog. Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Gabrielle and I am currently 23 years old. I reside in sunny California and I work for a mouse :)  I really don't know how many times I have tried to make a blog only to not keep up with it! But since this will be used for purposes to update you all on my acting life, as well as just things that interest me, I figure that I will update it as much as possible. I just finished making my website, which I am super happy about. There will be a link down below if you care to look through photos of me. I will also be linking videos of me from YouTube showing off my acting chops. I'm trying to stay busy with continuously going to acting classes, meeting new casting directors, and auditioning for various things. I am excited for what is to come next!
